Sigma provided electrical, mechanical, plumbing and fire protection engineering design, and construction administration for the renovation of six existing buildings totaling 31,500 SF for a city block revitalization project. The Douglas Block takes its name from the Douglas Building (c. 1916). The other historically significant buildings include the Manhattan Theater (c. 1940), the Booker T. Theater (c. 1910), the Burnette Building (c. 1924), the Stokes Building (c. 1924), and the Thorpe Building (c. 1905).
